  This Dentist wasted my whole entire day. When they called me to confirm the appointment they did not tell me my insurance will not be accepted. I showed up for my appointment and that's when they told me my insurance will not be accepted. I am pissed off unprofessional unprofessional and then they asked me if I wanted to pay outta pocket. I immediately said no! The phone call I received on February 26th confirming the appointment, never telling me the insurance wasn't acceptable. I wish they could have told me two months ago, so slow. It's 2016 Never Again,

  Excellent experience from the moment we walked in the door. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone needing reasonably priced dental care. I can't speak highly enough of our experience with Dr. Shapiro and the staff.

  I've been going to this location of Family Dentistry since they've opened. I am very happy with all of the Drs and staff. They are very accommodating and thorough.

  Thought I was still on my ex-wife's dental plan as agreed until we finally divorced in July 2017. Except my ex cut me out of her insurance prior to my Feb 2017 appointment, without telling me. So I went in February with my daughter for routine cleanings not knowing she had done this. Of course at the appt. they wanted to do xrays on me and I asked if it was necessary and THEY TOLD ME it was covered no charge under my insurance. So I guess they didn't check beforehand to see my status. So they quoted me services for free. Except later when insurance didn't cover it, they decided to charge me almost $300. For cleaning and flossing my teeth and taking some xrays THEY said were free. To top it off, my ex had these "bills" sent to her for months...colluding to keep me in the dark out of spite...I mean they let her change MY address when I have never moved in the last 15 years. I have never received an itemized bill from them, or 30 day, or 60 day, or 90 day notice. Just an overdue bill at the beginning of August threatening my credit, that was mailed to me by my ex in a regular non-business envelope with address information within the note sharpied out, and no period after the r in Mr as if some odd editing had occurred like Mrs. had been changed to Mr carelessly. When I brought all of this to the attention of Mary Brock, their financial "manager," she refused to let me speak to an owner or real manager, had a very unprofessional attitude then hung up on me, called me back, offered no resolution except to say it actually won't really affect my credit. They lost my business and that of my two children for the rest of our lives because they were part of this fraud and won't admit it. STAY AWAY! Hygienists are professional rest are not.
